However is mark diminishes the higher in power that he became. Special Master for the MGM Fire was groundbreaking. He was only moderately effective as one of the first 3 CD Judges (Allan Earl was the most effective). And on the NSC he left no legacy and showed himself to be a spineless pawn.

When there were ADKT hearings he would raise legitimate questions about systemic problems and then would follow the herd. Read the decisions of the Court and see how often he bucked Hardesty's bullying. HINT: He never did. He was one of the most affable members of the Court but that did not make him a good jurist. He talked respect but rarely stood up for it. (I am not commenting on whether he hugged too long because he never hugged me). Pickering on the other hand is prickly by appearance but actually stands up for what is right and just and the law.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7637960526696603209.post-67443428206723633092021-10-04T07:29:01.136-07:002021-10-04T07:29:01.136-07:00I don't know Justice Cherry personally, but I ...I don't know Justice Cherry personally, but I was sad when he retired. I thought he was the Justice that best exemplified showing everyone respect from the bench. He seemed to be both approachable and wicked smart. He's doing settlement conferences now with the retired senior judges program. I had a mediation with him a few weeks ago and he did a great job resolving a case with some fairly insufferable litigants. Glad he is still serving the legal community.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7637960526696603209.post-10113966755314741022021-10-03T16:49:12.008-07:002021-10-03T16:49:12.008-07:00I was there for my sister's swearing in. You get a ton of experience. The bad thing would be that the case load is often way too high and there are not enough attorneys for the work. The turnover is about the same as other ID firms. It's better culture than a lot of other ID firms and I believe the pay/bonuses are higher also.
