    1. You do realize that .059 is a very high percentage - especially if you are one of those in that group it would probably seem even higher

    3. Going off of publicly available numbers, the average age of an American is 38.1 and there are 328.3M Americans. At 99.969% survival rate, that is still more than 3X the average flu season deaths each year. It is over 100k dead Americans. I am so tired of seeing stupid numbers like this. When you are talking about percentages of hundreds of millions of people, you are still talking about hundreds of thousands. When did it become acceptable to walk out of your house, look down the street, and decide that you are okay with one of your neighbors losing their life, their kid's life, their spouse, their parents?? When did it become acceptable to be so hateful and selfish? The greatest generation sure as hell didn't do that. They signed up to serve. Women ferried planes and boats so men could fight. Families grew victory gardens. People did without. We defeated fascism because we believed that our neighbors and our communities. Now, we're on the precipice of fascism returning and we argue about acceptable death rates. Fucking christ...what have we become?

    4. Totally agree. I had to step over dead bodies to get my stimmie out of the mailbox. Where's my vape pen?

  2. Bar exam is going to be revamped nationwide. More emphasis on legal skills and less on memorization. 1. Do you really think memorizing a bunch of common law crimes and then regurgitating them in essays and multiple choice answers is at all relevant to being a lawyer? The current bar exam is just a crude way to keep out 25-50% of applicants (depending the on the jurisdiction). There are other things Nevada can do while keeping the admit rate about the same if that's what you're worried about.

    2. Obviously the MBE is highly important and the best indicator as success as an attorney. For those who do not know, Las Vegas' own Legal Elite™ Steve Dimopoulos scored in the 99th percentile on the MBE (as he humbly points out in his bio on his website - https://stevedimopoulos.com/the-team/). If you scored in the 99th percentile, maybe you too could have a Super Bowl ad featuring your two Rolls Royce's and team of staff that looked like they just came in from their shift at the nightclub.

    3. I thought Danny Tarkanian got the highest score on MBE?

  4. What's up with SCOTUS? There has not been a leak in the last 100 years. Whoever leaked the Roe v. Wade opinion is going to be disbarred and unemployable. Nothing is sacred anymore.

    3. Under what theory would an attorney be disbarred for leaking a draft opinion? But I'm glad these anti-leakers think they have a right to privacy but the rest of us do not.
