  1. Yes. All police interrogations should be recorded. Of course. We don't live in a Kafka novel.

    1. And unless police KNOW they're doing something illegal there's no reason NOT to record. It's like body cameras, better results for everyone.

    2. Same reason hospitals and doctors do not want surgeries recorded. It makes it much more difficult to lie and cover-up.

  2. Mini-Trump out as comm director:

    Fucking joke of an administration.

    2. Total cluster*&%k. Yet Trump supporters continue to think he is some sort of messiah. If you needed any more evidence of how much of a clown he is, look at the circus he has made of the Presidency.

      Clinton lost. Get over it.

    4. But when will Trump get over it? It's been months, and he wants to keep revisiting it. It's a clown move, bro.

      BUTTERY MALES!

    6. How come every time someone points out what a total douche Trump is, his supporters only retort is "Clinton lost". Really? The guy is a total F&%K UP and the best you can do to attempt to justify his actions is "Clinton lost"? You may not have noticed, but the dude is Prez and he needs to actually act like it, not the total S&%T show he is operating.

    7. I still hate Hillary Clinton, did not vote for her and think she would not have made a great president. That has nothing to do with the fact that Trump is clearly on track to be the worst President in the history of the United States. It is like a live action version of Emperor's New Clothes.

    8. Who said anything about Clinton? She was a terrible candidate and the Democrats royally screwed the pooch by forcing her in. TRUMP is the president and TRUMP is a shithead of epic proportions.

    9. @4:14

On track? I think he's already there.

    10. Trump and his administration may be unorthodox and not run like previous administrations, but it is producing a lot of positive results. Most of this delusional narrative that the place is a mess is being perpetuated by a hyperventilating left wing media cabal. Trump does things differently. Deal with it liberal bar members.

      Delete
    11. Positive results? Dude, go guzzle some more kool-aid. The place is a mess, and it is entirely of his own doing. If you are seriously defending the S&%T show, then all hope is lost for you.

    12. 4:30: Better hurry home so you can watch Don Lemon, Anderson Cooper, Rachel Maddow, Laurence O'Donnell, Chris Hayes, and Brian Williams tonight. That's 6 hours of comfort food for your simplistic liberal brain.

    15. Make this blog great again. Less liberal nutjobs, less rightwing wackos, more BK hotties and boobies.

    16. What positive results? As far as the narrative that "the place is a mess", Trump has gone through Press Secretaries faster than any other president. Trump has gone through a Chief of Staff switch faster than any other president. Trump has gone through Commmunication Directors faster than any other president. If it was merely unorthodox or unusual, but there were results, I could understand. If Trump was using the bully pulpit to really push and drive hard his agenda which was yielding results, I could understand. But none of that is true. Look, I am Republican. I am embarrassed to say I voted for him. The narrative that the place is a backbiting nest of cobras is because the place has been a backbiting nest of cobras.

    17. When you get all of your news from infowars.com, you think Trump is the greatest and the only issue is all those horrible, mean people who won't let him do his job.

      Delete
    18. Wrong 7:14. You are correct in your insinuation that infowars caters to the less informed and probably less educated repub voters (whose votes I personally am glad exist). However my opinions and assertions that this White House is producing awesome policies and results are based on fact and reality. Intelligent and successful people CAN believe Trump is succeeding and also approve of his agenda. I realize your hard wired leftwing brain may not comprehend this without experiencing cognitive dissonance, but you'll get farther (further) in life if you understand that opposing opinions have merit too.

      Delete
    19. 8:12 if by "policies" and "results" you mean things like pandering to religious freak science-deniers by putting them in charge of things, then we can't quibble with that, now, can we?

      Delete
    20. You are glad that we have less informed (your words) people voting. That is why the founding fathers did not want, and did not implement, a direct democracy. And whatever bubble you are livng in, it must be really thick to block out reality. "Awesome policies and results." Are you sure you aren't Mooch? Got a little too much time on your hands now that you are unemployed so you are trolllng blogs?

      Delete
    21. And just because Trump tweets "It's great day at the White House" doesn't mean you have to believe him. As much as he resembles Kim Jong-un, thus ain't North Korea so you can back off the Dear Leader reverence.

      Delete
    22. Trump is a fuck head and so are you for supporting him.

      Delete
    23. What successful policies? What results? Arms sales? Seriously, what policies has he successfully implemented that led to what specific results? And which results that he is taking credit for are explained by actions taken by the previous administration? He's had so few legislative accomplishments to date that he's been counting symbolic and bills naming shit. He's a publicity-seeking hack.

    25. Not trolling 9:09. Despite the incessantly negative press corp and democratic obstructionist headwinds, Trump truly is succeeding in implementing pro growth and common sense policies, reinstating our cultural values, and making this country great again. For a list of his achievements, follow Trump on twitter. I know you will not be able to cognitively digest this response, but that is another issue. And BTW I am employed and sending this post from a computer located in a law firm near you... TRUMP 2020.

      Delete
    26. His twitter feed is all Russia, all the time so I'm not quite sure how you're equating social media to his "achievements" lol...

      Delete
    27. 9:09, you are clearly unable to articulate any specific accomplishments and rather you simply repeat platitudes. The best you can come up with is to recommend that people follow a man on Twitter who is the most self-serving POS to ever have a Twitter account? You must truly believe it when Trump tweets in the middle of a clusterf&*K that "It's a great day at the White House". The only thing accurate in your post is your statement that I am unable to cognitively digest your pathetic response. No one of any cognitive ability could digest your response and give it any level of credence.

    28. I'm sure I'll be flamed for this post, but I don't really care. Here is the only positive so far regarding a Trump presidency: the markets are going gangbusters. That's good for your 401k and mine. Now, I didn't vote for Trump and I think Trump's an embarrassment and a grease-fire in nearly every other respect. But, he's presiding over one of the best market performances since 1960. So, there's that.

      Delete
    29. Every single idiot who can only repeat broadly generalized praise for what Trump has "overseen" as president qualifies their lies with, "I didn't vote for trump but..." You are the modern "I have black friends but..." and "Obamacare is a trainwreck destroying people's lives but (I am 24 and still on my parent's policy)..."

      You know, a douche.

    30. And remember how awesome the real estate market and economy did for a while under Dubya? How did that work out? The market will understand soon enough that the clown in the WH can't accomplish anything and we will all suffer, from an economic perspective and otherwise.

  3. It's kind of funny to me that the media coverage of the water pipeline is San Francisco. No one in the media around in Nevada that cares enough about Las Vegas sucking the rest of the state dry?

    4. You figure Vegas accounts for an outsized 70% of the economic activity in the state, so it should get an outsized share of resources. Of course, if White Pine county wants to take up the economic engine mantle, keep your water and be my guest.
