President Trump

  • With the Raiders having formally filed to moved to Vegas, the Stadium Authority has a lot of work to do--including picking their legal counsel next week. [RJ]
  • It appear Robert Graham was using his trust account as a piggy bank. [RJ]
  • Based on your comments, it seems like the local media is missing the Alessi Koenig story....

  1. Great speech by Trump. America first!

    1. It was not a great speech. In the "Black is White/Up is Down" worlds that Trump has created, calling a bad speech good just because it is different than other Presidents is simply wrong.

    2. Government that no longer plunders the people but supports them. Government that does not engage in foreign military adventures. Sounds great to me.

  2. Interesting article by Naqvi in the Nevada Lawyer about focus groups and trials. I do not recall anyone ever commenting that he is good in court or that he has even tried a case. Am I mistaken? How many cases has he tried? 3?

    1. None. He sends all his decent cases to Eglet and settles the crap ones.

  3. My only solace today is Laxalt will not be elected as governor, no matter what his war chest is. And, Trump will not serve his full term. Not wishing him illness or death, but he and Russia stole this election, and he will pay for what he did in spades. Will not read troll comments. My predictions.

    1. Great post 10:45. Your prediction about Laxalt (let's call him Lax for short) is probably on track.

But how is your opinion about the past "...he and Russia stole this election" a prediction?

And my prediction is that your "predictions" are dead wrong about the future.

    2. I hope Trump doesn't serve his full term. If illness or death falls upon him, eh... he's 70.

      Delete
    3. @11:02: under such predicted context we'd have to call him "Ex-Lax" for short

  4. Looks like Voldemort is getting divorced and the mud is slinging. I wonder if his wife's attorney knows about those TPO's he got hit with several years ago while married from woman who were not married to him? I bet they know and about the New Years Hilton valet/guns trouble.

    2. I'm interested to hear how you know this information? I have not seen anything of it elsewhere and a search for his (and his wife's) name on Odyssey does not show anything.

    3. And, who is representing him and more importantly his wife?

    6. That article is from 2010. Certainly not newsworthy at this point, especially when the charges were dropped!

    7. So I am not the only one who thinks that Abrams is the nastiest, meanest, angriest family law attorney in the land?

    9. This is to the Anonymous person that wrote to stupid post above. My son has the same name as myself he is the one getting divorce, you stupid cowardly imbosal.

It’s bad enough that you hide behind “Anonymous”, and then you want to replace my name with “Voldemort” so you could talk crap about me in effort that I won’t respond then not identifying yourself. Who is the coward?

As far the gun charge; it was dismissed when the witness said she told the police that I never pointed a weapon and added the police officer lied on the report. I believe in the Constitution and you are innocent until proven guilty. Can you say the case was dismissed?!

  10. KKK and Russia are happy.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Russia is not happy. The Russian people are as miserable as they have always been, and it has nothing to do with who POTUS is. Putin is happier with Trump than Clinton because Trump isn't going to get America and Russia involved in a major war over some pissant desert land and he actually shows Putin some respect. That help in negotiations, you know. On the other hand, Merkel and Hollande would have been happier with Clinton, because she would have made it easier for them to keep destroying Europe by importing and protecting millions of 70-IQ refugees with pre-Medieval ideas about religious and gender equality. Who gives a shit what foreign leaders think. And I hate to break it to you, but the KKK is barely even a thing anymore. Pull your head out of your ass.

    2. 6:19, pull your head out of your ass. Trump encouraged the Russian hacking. What award from Russia did Tillerson get? Trump ties to the Kremlin...your lack of intelligence is so telling, like any Trump support, you pos.

  14. This does not appear to be true. I searched for "Steve Sanson" on Odyssey and nothing came up. Steven Sanson is an American Patriot, who, for no personal benefit, holds the powerful accountable in this community. He also put his life on the line, which is pretty much the opposite of cowardly anonymous internet comments. We're all beneficiaries of his service. Las Vegas needs more principled men like Steve Sanson The attacks on him grow tiresome.

    3. @11:52 I believe his charges on the Hilton thing were not dismissed. He had great lawyers, Bill Terry and Linda Marquis who he now hates, who did a great job. My recollection was that it got pleaded down to a misdo and he sealed it later. Even if it was dismissed through a plea bargain, that certainly is not having charges dropped which implies prosecutor dismissed due to lack of evidence. I read the police report. Drunk as a skunk trying to get his car from valet packing two pistols claiming he had a bodyguarding gig earlier in the night. The only question was did he point a gun at the valet? His BAC was .18 or higher if memory serves me correctly. Nice. 2 handguns and that drunk and trying to drive. I do not know much about the TPO's except there were several and they were not from his wife.

    5. These defamatory attacks on a respected VETERAN NEED TO STOP!!!!!

      Delete
    6. @3:02, so you're saying he didn't get arrested for carrying guns while drunk, as he admitted to in the RJ? Because defamation means the allegations aren't true.

    7. Voldy, dude...your random capitalization and random ALLCAPS give you away (as well as the reference to you being an "American Patriot"). No one takes you seriously except you.

      Delete
    8. @3:02 - a real veteran knows our oath is to support and defend the Constitution. That includes the first amendment. If he who shall not be named has such a delicate condition he can't handle a few (well-founded?) insults hurled his way, perhaps he needs to stay out of the public eye and stop sending us all his unsolicated emails.

    4. Truth is the ultimate defense. There are no lies being told. Denial is not just a river in Egypt. Articles in the newspaper of the incident. What lies?
His newsletter claims he is disabled in the begging for divorce fund fees yet he constantly challenges police officers or people on this blog to physically fight? Or is it PTSD type disability?
Stating he is a Patriot does not erase his other actions or the fact he has run for about 8 elected positions and lost all with very suspect qualifications. Sounds to me like an 8 time rejected wannabee

    5. His detractors are not just randomly picking on an innocent Patriot. He brings criticism on himself by bullying etc. that has nothing to do with his admirable service to our country.
