  1. If a note from a NV doctor isn't sufficient, why should one from CA?

    1. I think the question was about the reciprocity. In California a note from a doctor is valid for a California dispensary to distribute MMJ to that person, and people were interpreting Nevada's reciprocity to allow Nevada dispensaries to distribute MMJ to anyone who was able to get MMJ in their state.

    2. I understand that. In California a note from a California doctor allows people to obtain MMJ in a California dispensary. In NV, a NV resident cannot obtain MMJ with just a doctor's note. So whose standards should NV use in reciprocating, CA's or NV's? My point being, we are in NV, if NV residents can't just use a doctor's note, then CA residents should not be able to either, as they are shopping in NV.

    3. The Nevada statutes for sales to out-of-state residents are pretty clear. Non-residents must have a medical marijuana card issued by another jurisdiction and a photo ID. A doctor's note is not sufficient. Hard to believe it took an AG opinion to clear that up...

    6. I wonder what Clement's bed sheet thread count is? I bought 300 the other day and was ecstatic. Then I head that's peasant grade.

    1. We should spice it up. How about a thread on funniest criminal defense attorney client goof up stories? Or a thread on Bulla's craziest rulings?

I think for community peace and unity, we should avoid sensitive topics such as female attorney hair, handbags and shoes.

    2. Friend of mine witnessed defense counsel argue the contents of a 5k1 motion (collaboration w/gov't) in open court, letting all the inmates know who the snitch was.

    3. Anyone watching The Night Of on HBO? I don't do criminal, so not sure how accurate, but it's entertaining.
