A Man, A Plan, A Canal Panama

  • Allegations of a conflict of interest have surfaced in the Brian Bloomfield's divorce case. [RJ]
  • If you haven't already, you're going to be hearing a lot about the "Panama Papers"--a leak of documents from Panamanian law firm Mossack Fonseca. The leaked documents expose a lot about how offshore accounts have been utilized and implicate lots of people around the world. It even appears that, natch, there is a Las Vegas connection. Let us know if you know anything about Mossack Fonseca's business in Las Vegas, MF Corporate Services. [RJ]
  • The County Convention resulted in changes in the number of delegates for Bernie Sanders. [RJ]

  1. Dear Bernie Supporters: May you have as much success as we did. Sincerely, Ron Paul '08 Delegates.

    1. If Bernie loses I'm voting for Trump. If Trump loses I'm moving to Mexico.

  2. I don't understand all the hate for Clinton. She is still the better alternative than the Repubs. I like Sanders, but I feel he is over-promising and will under-deliver, more so than most candidates running for office

    1. I don't know where my dislike for Clinton started. I voted for her husband twice and don't remember disliking her at that time. Now I think she is firmly a status quo big business republican who has lied about her ties to big banks and big oil. Bernie and Trump are honest. Trump is an honest asshole and Bernie is continuing to fight for what he has always fought for, openly and honestly. I also think Clinton will get shit all over in the general, that is if she isn't indicted before then.

    2. Hillary will not be indicted. Christina Kramar should be in jail. Bernie supporter.

    3. I dont know why Clinton is getting a bad rap. She's not perfect, but no one is. And she is definitely better than most candidates we have had in awhile. She may be part of the old gaurd, but she did start the fight for healthcare in the 90s and supported most of obama's plans. Sure she wasn't the best Sec of State, but she didnt do a horrible job. Bush messed up more than she did and they reelected the asshat.

    4. I love it when Clinton supporters claim astonishment at why Hillary gets a bad rap. It's as if they have forgotten the last 25 years. Mediocre senator, ineffective and sometimes disastrous secretary of state, and the ultimate "I will say whatever I need to say to gain a political advantage". See exhibit A: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-dY77j6uBHI (preview: it is Hillary flip-flopping for 13 minutes in a way that would make Mitt Romney or John Kerry sore). Plus, any Democrat who bashed Romney for being out of touch with the average American is divorced from reality if they don't think that Hillary is just as out of touch (I know times were tough after the left the presidency and had to slum it in Westchester). Trump is a dumpster fire (and I've got beachfront property in Tonopah for anyone who believes Trump is "honest") and Bernie makes crazy promises he can't keep, but the only reason Bernie is getting any kind of traction at all is that people know deep down that Hillary is a deeply flawed candidate.

    5. 1:50 an out of state Bernie troll. You and your campaign are disgusting, and you are making Trump supporters look civilized.

    6. 1:50 here. That makes a lot of sense, it really does. I am sure Bernie's campaign is scouring random Nevada legal blogs today to persuade the people to vote for Bernie in the upcoming Nevada Democratic caucus that happened a month ago.

    7. 2:45, it does make sense. You and your campaign are disgusting. Go to the Hillary Nevada Facebook page. Bernie supporters are bullies on there. They are bullies at the convention. General election is in November 2016. There are Bernie trolls like you who are on here. You intimidate Clinton supporter, and it is duly noted, and will be reported.

    8. The theme of every Hillary campaign, "poor me, I'm being bullied."

I'm not a Bernie supporter. I laughed at all my dumbass friends that wasted their Saturday to caucus for Bernie, and then, I was flabbergasted that they wasted another Saturday to go to the Clark County Dem Convention to support him again. Guys, get a clue. Hillary was anointed the nominee several years ago. If Hillary wasn't already a shoo-in, Biden would have run.

    9. LOL at 2:52 PM. How are you going to report an anonymous poster?

    10. 4:57, lmfao that you proved my points. You are so ignorant and dumb that you will do something in public and get arrested for it.

    11. So the RJ adopts a policy to make it more difficult to be able to be an anonymous Internet Troll and they are starting to come here. Hawkeye? Voldemort? Nvd7? TahoeKayak? C'mon we know you are here.....

    12. Mark Manendo would yell and curse at women. He is an ass. Stay away!

  3. This weekend's convention was an embarrassment. Bernie supporters were picking fights with Clinton supporters. Mark Manendo, a Bernie supporter was saying "f" you to female Clinton supporters. The civil Bernie supporters were embarrassed by the obnoxious Bernie supporters. Two people had medical episodes. It was not a proud moment for the Bernie campaign, and that is not everything that went on.
