  1. Sorry for Europe. Scary. It's only a matter of time before something like that happens here in Vegas.

    1. Yes, you should be afraid, very afraid.

    2. We should all be afraid and cautious, but we still have to live.
Thoughts and prayers are with Brussels!

    3. There is no reason to be afraid of terrorists. The odds of them harming any of us is too remote to rationally justify fear. I will never alter my lifestyle for terrorists. Fuck them.

  2. I hope you are wrong.

  3. I hope so too, but frankly I am surprised that nothing has happened here as of yet.

  4. Don't worry, nothing will happen in Vegas. The Arabs have just as much invested in vegas as other businesses, and Arabs secretly like gambling and hookers. lol

    1. Wish that were true, but ISIS doesn't care about Arab investments here.

    2. The Saudis are financing the terrorists.

  5. At least people are posting heart-shaped Belgian flags and Belgian-flag-tinted profile pictures on Facebook. That ought to prevent any more attacks and make it clear that we are against indiscriminate mass murder, you know, for the record. Hey, they should have thought of that in Belgium last week. Remember that comprehensive study showing a correlation of tinted profile pictures and the likelihood of a nation being attacked by terrorists? Of course, we definitely shouldn't implement any actual measures to screen or investigate immigrants or refugees based on religion or country of origin, because then people will call us Nazis or racists or Donald Trump supporters, and everybody knows being called names makes you just as bad as a terrorist.

    1. When we start screening white people for blowing up and shooting dead more Americans than any terrorist ever has, progress will finally have been made.

    2. First, where did I mention anything about screening for race apart from country of origin or religion? Second, if by "white people," you mean British, German, Italian, Spanish, and Confederate soldiers in various past wars, you're almost certainly right that more Americans (soldiers, anyway) have been killed by white enemy soldiers than by non-white enemy soldiers throughout history. But you probably meant white domestic Timothy McVeigh-type terrorists as opposed to foreign Islamic terrorists, in which case you're wrong. Third, where did I imply that domestic terrorists, of any race, should not be investigated? Again, all we hear in response is implicit name calling ("racist"). No actual, legitimate criticism or alternative solutions.

    3. No, I mean white American people, you know, white people like you who think that parsing their racism erases it.

    4. Wait, I thought racism is okay. Why else have Black/Latino/Women Students Club, Black/Latino/Women Studies Program, Black/Latino/Womyn quotas, etc. But, hey, let's not go there. Move along, nothing to see here.

    5. Yes, that is the same as the KKK, you got me, wow, I feel like the whole of white history can now be white-washed clean thanks to "Black/Latino/Women Students Club, Black/Latino/Women Studies Program, Black/Latino/Womyn quotas, etc." making things "even" for white people.

    6. Imagine the backlash and outrage if a group of white men formed a club for the purpose of celebrating the culture of white Americans, or men. Imagine a university where one could major in white American studies or men's studies.

The history of Europeans is a good history. It includes great philosophy, art, culture, and scientific achievement. But because of political correctness, it cannot be celebrated.

    7. Yeah, its like nothing like that ever happened up until...oh let's be generous and say roughly into the 60's. And everything magically changed, from attitudes of whites to the laws that they used to keep minorities in their place, right?

    8. Is it so bad that minorities can start groups celebrating their heritage, but you can't? Do you really want to go to a German-American awareness event or be a member of the white-guy-American club? I'd rather not spend my time at some worthless circle jerk. SOME people perceive slights that aren't there--this "everything on earth is a micro-agression" group includes you, 1:29. MOST people are just normal people that are looking to get along and don't think the world is out to victimize them. I hope you can join us.

  6. 9:03, again, nothing but name calling. No evidence. No argumentation. You lose. Now, you say that you meant neither white enemy soldiers nor white domestic terrorists, but "white people like you who think that parsing their racism erases it." So your argument is now that modern white racists (which you accuse me of being with no evidence) have murdered more people than Islamic terrorists. Now you're even more wrong than I thought you were before. Racially motivated white killers have killed a relatively tiny number of Americans (about 60) compared to religiously motivated Islamic terrorists (about 3500, excluding the thousands of soldiers killed in Iraq and Afghanistan) since 1995. All of this is reprehensible, and your chances of dying any of these ways is very low, but the fact is your chances of being killed by a religiously motivated Islamic terrorist are many times greater than your chances of being killed by a racially motivated attacker. Furthermore, your chances of being violently victimized by an attacker of another race (using a white/non-white dichotomy) are about the same for white and non-white Americans. According to the DOJ's own statistics, in 2015 whites committed about 500,000 violent crimes against non-whites, and non-whites committed about 1,500,000 violent crimes against whites. Whites outnumbered non-whites roughly 3 to 1 by population, meaning whites and non-whites had about the same chances of being a cross-racial violence victim, but non-whites had a 9 times greater chance of being a cross-racial violence perpetrator. None of this justifies any racism, but get your facts straight before you go spouting objectively false nonsense about a non-existent white on non-white crime epidemic.

    1. Again with the white-washing of your own guilt? Its telling.

      Delete
    2. Guilt for what? I've never committed any violent crimes against anyone of any race or religion. And how is it "white-washing" anything to make a valid argument and prove it with facts? You still haven't offered any argument or evidence in support of your original statement. All you have to offer are emotional spasms and reflexive name-calling. That's the only thing that's "telling" here. It's telling of the fact that you have no arguments or facts to support your emotional reflexes.

    3. Right, guilt for what?

    4. Your emotional spasms have taken your comments from wrong to aggressively wrong and accusatory to ungrammatical.
